In order to solve the losses caused by fan failure in the normal state of the grain dryer, we will summarize the following experience for you.

1. When the grain dryer equipment system enters the working state, the fan should be turned on and run in sequence. At the beginning of the work, the vibration of the bearing part is very small, but as the running time increases, the dust in the fan will be unevenly attached to the impeller, gradually destroying the dynamic balance of the fan, and gradually increasing the vibration of the bearing. Once the vibration reaches the allowable value of the fan 11mm/s, the fan is shut down for repair (remove dust accumulation and redo dynamic balance). Because it is very dangerous at this time, users must not force it.

2. The normal bearing temperature of the fan is ≤70℃. If it rises to 70℃, the electrical control cabinet should alarm. At this time, the cause should be found. First, check whether the cooling water is normal? Is the bearing oil level normal?

3. During the start-up, shutdown or operation of the fan, if any abnormal phenomenon (such as abnormal sound, abnormal vibration, abnormal temperature rise) is found, it should be checked immediately. The cause of the small fault found during the inspection should be promptly identified and eliminated. If a major fault is found (such as severe vibration, impact of the fan, and a sharp rise in bearing temperature, etc.), it should be stopped immediately for inspection.

4. Master the correct way to open the fan damper. Failures caused by careless operation of the damper are common.
